While the AMD can output enough pixels to keep the monitor busy in a web browser or maybe watching a movie, the real question is whether the AMD can run Triple A game titles at 2x 4K at 240 FPS.
Yes it can. You can even add another 4K monitor if you'd like since the 3080 has 4 display ports. 4 4K monitors is also an option if you'd like to remove your 2K monitor (Not recommended, will probably overheat your GPU faster) I stream and game in high quality presets on a 34" UW 3440x1440, secondary is a 32" 2k.
Just summing things up about my post, so people looking for an answer to my post can get the information easily. 1080P or 1440P on a 4K 144Hz monitor should not be an issue. There is always an option to turn down the in-game resolution to 2K and still, the gameplay looks absolutely fine on the 4K monitor.
The output performance will vary depending on the specifications of the machine you’re using with the UD–4VPD. Under optimal conditions, you can use two 4K monitors at 120 Hz or get one 8K
Consider also using integer scaling that prevents unreasonable blur when the scale is 2.0 or higher. For example, at Full HD (1920Ă—1080) on a 4K display, the scale is exactly 2.0, so integer scaling turns each pixel into a perfect square group of 2Ă—2 pixels of the same color not affected by colors of adjacent pixels.
You should be fine, especially once you get that new graphics card. Posted. No. Stick with 2K. Most people cannot even see the difference, especially on standard 1080p monitors, yet everyone goes for them, despite the performance loss. MxR doesn't use many hi-res textures because he stated that he doesn't stare at the textures long enough to
Nowadays, most monitors, TVs and graphics cards feature at least an HDMI 1.4 port, which is enough for 144Hz at 1080p, 75Hz at 1440p and 30Hz at 4K.. However, keep in mind that some monitors have limited bandwidth over HDMI 1.4, making it max out at 120Hz or even at 60Hz in some cases (mostly G-SYNC and older monitors).
People who says 2k and 4k is the same, are the same people who try to convince the human eye can't see difference above 60fps. They are idiots. There is a bigger difference between 2k and 4k than fullhd and 2k. Jyst because they can't or don't want to afford a 4k gaming monitor they make up bs things.
QYv5.
can a 2k monitor run at 4k
