Same problem after 63 hours of gaming, I have the apps steam and origin but got the game on steam but the game is linked on the apps. However, several years ago, I managed to buy Inquisition GOTY edition by buying a CD key off of G2A and activating it in the Origin launcher. This was back when Origin launcher was the main thing. There was no EA App. I never had any issues with the game back then. Fast forward to a few days ago, when I reinstalled Dragon Age 2 from Steam. I bought it and found out. Unfortunately, you cannot launch Dragon Age or any other EA game from Origin only. It launches both Steam and Origin. No, it cannot be turned off nor be launched separately from the other. No, well at least it's easily fixable. I'm playing the game at 144hz, and I'm nearly done with it at ~105 hours in. You just need to go to game properties in Origin, then advanced launch options, and add "-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+" Which will make the doors open at 60+ fps, and the cutscenes animate at 60fps. 2.
